Excellent workboot

I have been buying these boots every year for my son, a hard-working auto mechanic, for many years. He loves them! He says they are super comfy, give good support and the steel toes help protect his feet. He won't wear any other work boot. He has even worn them hiking, even though they are a work boot. Because he often gets oil, diesel and other chemical spills on them, the leather & soles do break down faster than with normal use, so he enjoys a new pair every year, with a little help from mom!

I have been wearing these boots for years. The steel toe does not bind in anyway whatsoever combined with the comfort and design this boot is hard to beat. Great durability and comfort for a great price.

These shoes feel amazing for what they are! "steel-toe workboots". The last pair I had (not Timberlands) felt like "Frankenstein walking". You can't go wrong buying these shoes!

I purchased these boots to go on a mission trip down in Guatemala. We were drilling a fresh water well for a local village... so we were lifting pipes and working in mud... the boots held up perfectly. When they got a wet inside, I pulled out the sole lining and open it up to dry out... they felt great the next day. I conditioned them with Mink Oil before getting onsite and an extra precaution... and it really helped them clean up after use. I'll be using these boots for a long time.

Boots are very well made and could not beat the price. They are great for work and also good to wear out with jeans. Will definately recommend to a friend.

GR8 Boot, durable, very strong and safe. A fire extinguisher fell on my toe and I did not feel a thing! I would definitely recommend these to a friend. I love Altrec.com....just ordered another pair of boots from them.

The Timberland Men's Pit Boss 6 Inch Steel Toe Workboot is the most comfortable work boots I have owned. They feel like your walking in your sleepers. Very easy on the feet.I will buy agian.

After wearing these boots for 3 months, it still looks and feels like the left inner steel is damaged, compared to the right one. I'd recommend these boots in extra wide for most ppl.

I bought these boots for my son and he is very pleased with the fit and comfort. The quality appears good, but really too soon to tell. I would recommend purchasing these boots.

This is the 5th pair of the same exact boots, enough said. I put superfeet in them and I am in them 10+ hours a day.

Requires a break in period. I recommend saddle soap, apply on to leather once a day for a week to soften and form to your feet. To further protect try mink oil from kiwi to waterproof the boots. Third pair of Timberland and this is by far toughest leather yet. My boots are near broken in' and it will take constant punishment every single day.

This is the 3rd pair of Timberland boots for my husband, and he is delighted - coming from a guy who's in them for 11 hours straight, I'd say that's pretty good!

The main issue I have with these boots is the steel toe. In one boot it is curved down so it rubs on the top of the toes. Also with the weight of the boots, you can tie them very tightly and they will still move around a lot. I have no doubt as to the quality of the boots or the high regard many have to Timberland, they just don't fit very well.

These boots are the most durable boots I have ever had. They outlast Red Wing Boots by far and the price is more reasonable. Excellent,long-wearing soles. Great laces too!

I recently ordered a new pair of Timerland Pro Work boots. Even though the website said they were a "Special Order" and would take additional time to process, I still received my order within a week of ordering them. I will definitly come back for my next purchase.

The only problem was, the wide width was not lettered. It only says wide. I where a wider size and I wore them to work, so my return may be invalid. The steel toe wore blisters on the sides of my toes. It is great finding so many choices and sizes, but online ordering should include letter width. RE: D, E, EE, EEE, EEEE. I won't be able to wear these.

Probably the best pair of work boots I have owned so far. Burly, but not bulky. First steel toe boot I have ever owned that didn't try to rip out my toenails! Excellent fit right out of the box. These boots are sized to accommodate a thick boot sock, so if you wear a 10 1/2 then order that size, not an 11. Also, these boots need a slightly longer break in time.

Like others have said they take time to break-in. Once that's done they are yours.I work in turbine oil and jet fuel and these boots never loose their grip.

Cant go wrong with these boots, but i found that it took some time to break them in before they started to become comfortable~ Very rugged and great traction while wearing them
