Great jacket to wear out as activewear in winter ( It is especially good as a layer instead of a jacket over an activewear top in 25- 30 degree weather). It is very warm and does tend to run small, so size up a size if layering. I loved it so much I bought two for myself and several as gifts!

Love it, its comfy and warm. The black color is Great. I want the cream color but its out of stock. It runs a bit on the small side Overall, I love it.

I really like this sweatshirt! It's a little short, but the arms were fine and it's very warm and soft! I love to wear it around my college campus and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it!

The NorthFace Mossbud 1/4 zip shirt is very soft and keeps me warm. It does run a bit small, so keep that in mind when ordering. I usually wear a small and order my Mossbuds in Medium.

Much softer than anticipated, true fit, if you are a small, it is snug so if you want to wear something under the jacket order a size up. Very warm and comfortable, even in the pockets!

My girlfriend absolutely loves this fleece. It is very warm and incredibly soft. I actually found some North Face gloves with the same type of fleece and she loves those as well.

Purchased to wear on a recent backpacking/camping trip. It was a great extra layering peice for chilly days/nights. It is super soft, extra thick fleece. Very true to fit. I am tall (5'9") and the sleeves and torso are long enough for me. The front pocket is great for keeping your hands toasty! Beware though, it does shed fuzz the first couple of washings.

I run cold all the time in winter, but the Mossbud will nip this in the bud. Feels great on the skin, provides warmth without being suffocating, has a different look than that of other fleece jackets and tops. Fits fairly tight and is cut to enhance figure, not hide it. Highly recommend. Way to go TNF!

I absolutely recommend this pullover! Unbelievably soft and plan to get in every color! Pictures dont do justice for this amazing feel of comfort! When I first saw the product.. I knew it would be great but truly had no idea as to how great it would be! I was highly impressed! The quality of this North Face Sweater Pullover is amazing! It is of the softest felling material I possibly have ever encountered! The way it looks and its feel is worth every penny! a definite must of a purchase!

Great fleece. Super Warm and cozy. Color was moonlight ivory more like a light gray. Fits smaller that normal. I would size up if you want a more athletic fit. I can only wear a small t shirt under it for layering. I will buy a bigger size next time.

this is so warm, comfy and soft..i like the kangoo pocket to keep my hands nice and toasty..i love the feel of the material..i def got a bigger size(normally im a lg)cuz i like to have room to put layers underneath it..now i want to get another one in black this time..

Wore my Mossbud today for the very first time and just love the softness of the material. I was pleased to find out that the material is fuzzy inside and out. I was also worried that the material used will make you look fat, which is not the case. The cut of the sweater is form fitting so you still get the shape you need. Today is about 54 degrees with light winds so far it's been keeping comfortable and wam. It gets hot indoors though. Have not gotten a chance to wash the material so do not know how it will hold up.

Love the soft fleece-supple and "fine threaded". It is warmer than many standard weight fleece coats I have owned. It seems to run a little small as I usually take medium and this is a large.

I bought it in every color. It is comfortable, warm, and has a great fit that is specific for women. Not frompy like other athletic jackets. I usually wear xsmall to small, but in this jacket, medium fits best for wearing it for activities. If you want to wear it as a form fitting shirt, but is small. I bought both small and medium. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I purchased one 1/4 zip to "try it out" especially since comments were that it ran a little small. I like things loose so I purchased an extra large, normally wearing a medium or large (5'8" 125 lbs). The extra large was a perfect choice, especially since I planned to layer underneath. After I received the first one, I was shocked, not really liking 1/4 zips. I was in heaven. It was so soft and the size was perfect for the layering. I immediately purchased three more for myself and three for my daughter. They're so soft and we've both worn them layered and without layering. As always, Altrec came through with fast shipping and we had our items within a few days. I've purchased many North Face items recently and all have been of great quality but the Mossbud 1/4 zip is the most versatile item so far. Forget the sweaters and sweatshirts, as I work in a cool environment. This is all I need. The only negative is that you can't stop touching it because it's so soft...like a teddy bear:)

I ordered this fleece on a whim. I usually have problems with the sleeve and torso being to short. ( I am 5'5" and 110 lbs ) But this was a perfect fit. It runs slim without being tight. The fleece is extremely soft and I love the color. The moonlight ivory is a cross between gray and cream. I received several compliments the first time I wore it. I liked it so well I ended up ordering 2 for friends as gilts.

I have many 1/4 Zip pullovers by different brand names and this one by TNF is by far the BEST one I've had! It's comfort and quality is wonderful. I could sleep in it! I am 5'4", 105 pounds. The XS really fits my form but there is no room for an undershirt. The XS is not tight but it hugs my body well. I also bought the denim in S (no XS available in that color) and that fits great too plus I can wear an undershirt with it. Personally, I like clothes that form fit me well without looking tight so the XS was a great choice for me. Also, you can't beat the Altrec price! I bought the same pullover in white from a local dealer for $65 "on sale."

It's perfect for sunny days in the 40s if worn alone, and it's fitted enough that it can be used for layering under a winter coat. This is my new favorite fleece!

I have been watching the Mossbud for a while. When Altrec offered it at such an unbelievable price I had to have it! When I ordered I read all the positive reviews. My only dilema was the sizing? Most people indicated it to run small and reccomended ordering up? I am 5 9' 140 and usually wear a MED in TNF but with all that was said I went for the Large? When it came I found it bulky and unflattering (it made me look large?), although I loved the warmth and furry soft feel. I returned it for the MED and am very happy! It fits perfectly with a shirt underneath, it's flatering, good looking and great NF quality! I wish I had ordered true to size, the exchange added $12 to get it right?

This fleece is exceptionally comfortable, soft, and very warm. It's so comfortable, in fact, that I sleep in it on cold nights. I am 5'7" and average build, and this fleece fits very well. The lengths of the body and sleeves are just right, and there is no fabric bunching around the armpits when wearing layers. The only thing I would change is the lining of the front pocket - it's a thinner material inside, and I miss the fuzzy texture! Obviously, this is not a major hang-up.

Very warm and cozy! The material is very soft. It does run small. I normally wear a medium in North Face and got a large in this. It curves in at the waist so it gives shape so you don't look bulky. One of my favorites!

I ordered all 4 colors in this & love each & every one of them. They are incredibly warm; maybe even a bit too warm. Form fitting around the waist so it's tailored yet very cozy & casual. Great for when you'd rather stay in your pj's but must get dressed instead. I would say go for it if they are on sale but think about it if you're paying full price.

Very, very soft! I ordered an xs, I am 5'4" and 114lbs. So far I have only worn a short sleeve t-shirt under it, and I think that if I wanted to layer more I would need to order a size larger. I like that it is fitted though, it looks nice! I am very happy with my purchase!

When this fleece came in, I couldn't stop rubbing it against my face. It's that soft. Warm and cozy. I know it will be warm and plan on buying more colors. These will replace the current fleeces I own.

There is nothing to dislike about this fleece. This is my third one and will be purchasing another. Extremely warm and comfortable. Can be warn alone or with a t-neck for extra warmth. I normally wear a small ( 5' 1" - 110 lbs.) but all of mine are mediums as they seem to run a bit small. Machine wash and dry and ready to be worn again! Anyone looking to purchase, you will not be sorry. Enjoy!

Plush, soft material. Great for trapping in warm air. Fit is close and fitted. No air leaks up your lower back like some fleece pullovers. Loved my Daughters so I purchased the same for me. Only wish it had the classic "The North Face" Brag Tag on the Shoulder. Lisa.

The minute I put this on I loved it. Soft, comfortable and cute. One drawback is it fits small, I had to return to get a bigger size. Altrec made the return easy and I had my new, perfect size before I knew it. Haven't worn it out yet but am sure I will be completely satisfied.

I wear this all the time. The material is very cozy, and it's tailored enough to look polished, not frumpy. It does fit a little on the small side, which I have found to be true of most items in this category. (Or more accurately, clothes from stores like the Gap are probably cut too big and these are just right.) I normally wear an XS or a S, and I got an S, but perhaps might have gotten a M if I wanted to wear layers under it. The inside pocket did develop a small hole, but it's probably because I put keys in there and they poked through. I would recommend this--nice looking and cozy. I hate it when I go to wear it and it's in the laundry!

I love these fleece because they are super warm on really cold days & I feel like I'm wrapped up in a blanket. I have 4 in different colors from past years. I get a new one every year. The colors are nice & they wash well. I swap these from TKA 100 on really cold days.
