Nano Puff Perfect for the mornings!
March 06, 2012
I am a USD rower and I wear this jacket every morning before practice! It is easy to fold and put in my travel bag and it keeps me warm and ref;acts the wind very well! I also really enjoy the color selection. I bought the lime yellow one, which is very bright!! Altrec also did a great job on shipping and packaging!!
Pros: Great design, Ease of use, Great valuenano pull over

color was great and very warm. We wore them on our trip to Switzerland and they kept us comfy! The fit was perfect. I selected this style of jacket because it has dual benefits.
Pros: Lasts forever, Performancegreat outerwear
February 19, 2012
In cold climate and if the activity might involve some possibility of water and rain, this jacket is probably superior to down jacket. I use nano puff garments for fishing. I had purchased a jacket type before. But this pullover type is also as useful as the other version. I chose brighter color - orange and the color actually maches with moss green shell jacket. So I love this outerwear under the rain jacket. I would continue to buy nana puss for years to come when different styles or models come out. There doesn't seem to be any flaws or problems so far.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Item, but get the one with full zipper
February 05, 2012
I purchased this pullover because I needed a new layer of warmth under my shell. When I tried it on at home It was very warm, and I realized that I would bake if I wore it on a winter hiking trip. This is a great item if you just wear it in camp.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceSurpisingly warm
February 01, 2012
I wear this pullover all the time, in my old and drafty Boston home and outside with temps in the 20-40's and windchills below that. It is so light, it feels like nothing, which is why it's such a surpise to feel comfortable when I venture outside with only a t-shirt underneath it. I am 6ft tall, have long arms, and weigh about 160lbs, and the medium is a good fit for me.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, weight, warmthExcellent layer to add !!!

We all love this product!!! While it was purchased for my college freshman who adores the outdoors, I often borrow his nano puff pullover. It's versatility is a pleasure as it can be worn during an afternoon of x-country skiing but also out to dinner. The layer of warmth is significant for a product which is so light. It also dries very quickly when one is hiking or caught in a rain shower. This is a must product to add to your wardrobe.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueA must have jacket
January 18, 2012
Awesome jacket, great quality and great price. It keeps you warm but not hot and is so light weight and you can pack it easily. Patagonia has a great product with the nano puff jacket! We actually bought more than one because we liked it so much.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueWarmest midlayer out there!
January 16, 2012
If it's about 35 degrees outside this is perfect over a tshirt. Perfectly warm and not noticeable at all when it comes to weight. I have worn it as a mid layer icefishing, hunting, and hiking. Its great in a tent on a cold night. and fits under anything . It stuffs down into its own small pocket about the size of a pair of socks. The best buy for anyone wanting warmth without bulk
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great valuePerfect!!
January 16, 2012
This Lightweight 1/4 zip is warm and comfortable, yet is lightweight and packable. I am 6'0" and weight 190lbs and went with a Large. It fits great and is perfect for layering. I also like to wear it around town.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useLightweight and Warm
January 03, 2012
Great sweater for wearing out on moderately cool days or layer under a shell. Great range of thermal help. Perfect zipper at the neck. Beware of the dreaded fabric catch in the pocket zipper. I bought the medium size because I want to layer this under a leather motorcycle jacket and it is perfect. I usually wear a 39-40 jacket, and the medium size is just right for sleeve length and not tight at the back. I can see hiking or jogging in this, or using it under a shell on the mountain. Some side pockets would be nice.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, excellent fit, great thermal range16 year old son LOVES his jacket
January 02, 2012
This was a Xmas gift and any kind of clothes is always a risky purchase. Not only does it fit him perfectly and look really great but he thinks it is the greatest jacket ever! A rare win for mom!
Pros: Great design, warm but not heavygreat little sweater/jacket
December 28, 2011
I got the large size, should have gotten medium. I'm 5'10", 155, and was concerned that the medium might be too tight. It is a very light weight jacket but I love it. I've purchased a boat so needed something light and warm on the chilly mornings. The jacket looks like there isn't enough insulation in it to have any warmth but it is perfect for my needs.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useexcellent pullover
December 25, 2011
This is an excellent pullover, lightweight, compressible, and warm, it is a great baselayer or sleep shirt. The shirt runs true to size, the only problem. I had was getting too close to the fire, yes it burns rather fast. Wish they were cheaper.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceThrilled with Patagonia
December 15, 2011
I purchased the pullover for my son in orange and he loves it. I ordred the XL. He is 6'4" and 210 and the fit is good for him. Very light and extremely comfortable. Keeps him warm at the same time. I will probably purchase another one for my other son. As always I am thrilled with the quality and style from Patagonia
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useMen's Nano pullover
December 07, 2011
I got this pullover for my son who is out on boats a lot. It is roomy and lightweight but warm. It cuts the wind well and keeps the chill out. I have the hoody jacket and love that. Great for camping and hiking...both fold up into the pocket for easy packing. Great product Patagonia! Great service Altrec!
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of useLightweight and warm!
November 09, 2011
Wearing this jacket is like putting on a sunny day. It is light and comfortable. The fabric finish make it an excellent mid layer--it doesn't bind with base layer or the shell. I love it!
Pros: Build quality, PerformanceGreat pullover
November 07, 2011
Great pullover, super light feels like its not there, great midlayer for skiing and whatnot. Doesnt bunch up like a softshell does either for a midlayer. Simply awesome.
Pros: Great design, Ease of useAwesome warmth for the weight
November 06, 2011
I got this because I wanted something lightweight and easily packable that doesn't compromise on the warmth. This is it. It is pretty simple no-frills design, which is perfect for this purpose. It only has one pocket (chest) which the coat packs into with easy. If you are looking for something with pockets for your phone and car keys to wear around town, get something else. If you want something that delivers warmth without bulk and excess features, then this is it. The Primaloft One is awesome. I've got coats with the Primaloft Eco, and it just doesn't keep you near as warm.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformanceAbsolutely awesome
November 06, 2011
Wow. Great jacket. I have the pullover. Extremely comfortable, warm and very lightweight. I had thought about this jacket for about a year and just wore it up north in 30-40 degree weather with 50 mph winds and some rain. It was perfect. Looks great too. Wish i had it when I had been camping up in Wisconsin and Michigan. Truly is packable. Might have to get the vest too. I am a big fan of Patagonia products. This one tops the list
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGood product overall
October 24, 2011
This jacket is very good for being a warm layer but weighs almost nothing. The outer shell fabric feels really light sand has a shine to it... Not my taste in appearances. The jacket is an excellent technical piece , just not so good looking for around town use.
Uhhh... Not So Much

I'm a huge fan of all Patagonia's light weight down gear & have almost all the key pieces - but I think they missed on this one, at least aesthetically. I love the idea of these, but the combination of the shiny material and the grid pattern yields a really fruity looking garment. I know people love these, and I wanted to love it too, but they just look goofy (at best). When I see someone sporting one they definitely don't look 'core' - they look like someone that heard Patagonia was cool and just picked the wrong item. Unless you live in a cave and don't care how you look, I'd pass on this one.
Nano Puff Pullover

Overall great jacket for all kinds of occasions. Only have to complaints: the fits is a bit wide and there are no side pockets. Otherwise couldn't be happier w/ my purchase.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuepatagonia nano
September 03, 2011
Great patagonia product. Very light weight. Would recommend this to anyone. Will look into the jacket. Will be using it for travel since it is light weight and packable.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueLove this jacket!
September 01, 2011
Great fit. Love the color for the fall. Very warm without a lot of weight. High Quality. The price for the jacket was great - was on sale even though it was a current Patagonia product. My friends love the jacket!
Pros: Great design, Build qualityPerfect for Northern California hiking
August 19, 2011
I recently brought this along for a 50+ mile hike near Mammoth / Ansel Adams Wilderness. In the past, I've used layered fleece and windbreakers to stay warm at night, but still got chilly. This is a great option for layering during cool Sierra nights. It folds into itself via a zippered pocket, so makes for a nice stuff into a backpack. The balance of weight / warmth was an acceptable trade off for me. I opted for this versus the Patagonia Men's Down Sweater for the lighter weight and versatility of the PrimaLoft (versus down fill). I also found the Men's Down Sweater a little bulky. I usually fit into a medium, but opted for the large because it provided more swinging room. For colder nights I put this on over a fleece for added warmth and wanted a little more wiggle room. I haven't put it through a full season but, so far, have been very happy with the purchase and am considering buying one for my son.
Pros: Great design, Great valueFeatherlight

This is an initial observation. The Nano Puff Pullover is light, warm and comfortable. It doesn't feel like you are wearing it. I have one caveat. The" Clementine" color is aggressively orange. That's why I exchanged it for gray. The color patch on the website makes it look red, especially compared to "Mango," which is even more orange. I wish product designers would use real colors for descriptions.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, light weightJuly 22, 2011
This was a gift for my sister who envied my pullover. She loves it but of course is not able to wear it now during the dog days of summer. She wanted the bright color so that during her walking she would be seen, she like the overall feel and light weight of the product. Also, the fact that the pullover is wind resistant is going to be a great feature for her.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceExcellent compact pullover
July 08, 2011
I've only had the nano hoodie for a few days, but I'm impressed by it's warmth. I live in San Francisco, which has notoriously cold summers. One requirement of living here is that you always need to carry a jacket. The nano has become my go to, because it stashes into a tiny pouch and provides all the warmth I need. Can't wait to use it in Tahoe. As other reviewers have noted, I do worry that it will get snagged, as the fabric is fairly delicate.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, PerformancePower of a coat in a light compact package
June 28, 2011
Have had the opportunity and pleasure to use this product many times. I really love the feather light feel of it and its ability to pack down to about the size of a sandwich ziplock. This product is great for a wide range of temperatures. I have used this in the 40 degree range while being active and generated so much body heat that I had my hat off and the zip all the way down. If you are looking for something to throw in your pack that takes up no room and gives you amazing warmth this is it. The zip pocket is great for keep an iPod or cell. For the warm of this coat you also have amazing mobility. Very good range of motion. The DWR coating is great and water will run right off. Great for snow shoeing, walks or hikes, shoveling snow, and takes the chill out of a cold damp night when you are on deck in The Great Lakes!
Pros: Great design, PerformanceNano Puff Pullover
June 19, 2011
I wore the Puff Pullover with a capilene base layer in thirty degrees, light rain and winds over 25 miles per hour and was very comfordable. I was very pleased with it's wind resistance and light wieght. The puff pullover makes a great sweater indoors or out.
Pros: Performance, cost, wind resistance, light weightNicks and scratches are a killer.
June 02, 2011
Not going to pretend i bought this to climb mountains, mostly for hiking and walking the dogs in the morning. Once you put it on you realize how light it really is. Stretches well with your movements and keeps the wind at bay. Downside is on the exterior material. I've managed (and honestly don't know how) to have scuffed and scratched near the wrists. A slight tear in an otherwise solid purchase. I'll take some of the blame, so have still given 4 stars.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceIt's warm!!
May 19, 2011
Nano Puff Pullover jacket is the warmest jacket i've worn for its weight. This jacket is incredibly light and comfortable. 60g of Primaloft is just enough to keep you warm, but it doesn't overheat once you start moving or if the temps warm up. The exterior shell does a good job of blocking wind and water.
Pros: Great design, Great valueSo great, I bought two!
May 15, 2011
I bought this and used it on a trip to the West Coast. I loved it... super light, packs small and provided great warmth on cool nights and days on the water. As soon as I got home, I ordered another color!
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuepretty good
May 02, 2011
This lightweight jacket is very warm, very compactable, and very light. It is surprisingly warm for the weight and thickness. I only worry about how long it will last. After a short, easy hike some of the stuffing was coming out of the stiching. Not a big deal, but I'm not sure if it will get worse or if it is just wearing in. Time will tell. For wearing at and around camp it would be perfect. I will probably not wear it while hiking anymore.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat jacket and the best I've seen
April 08, 2011
Really like the jacket due to light weight and feels great. Couldn't get any better. Great for the Northeastern states in the winter. Really like that vibrant colors that this jackets comes in.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuewarm and light!
March 28, 2011
perfect for a midlayer in colder conditions, or as an outer layer in cold winds. throw a hardshell over this and you've got a great layering system! dw
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useGotta have
March 23, 2011
The nano is A+ a nice jacket to have in your collection. You can either wear alone or underneath another jacket. Packs up like no other! Love the bright colors and yet still has choice for the basic needed in your wardrobe.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityNano puff
March 05, 2011
This piece is super lightweight and packs very well. Really wind resistant and just enough insulation to keep you comfortable from mid to high 40's down to the low 30's. layers really well under a shell, perfect for resort skiing. The only down side is is you are a taller guy you may want to look at the jacket version instead. The elastic hem on the bottom tends to ride up and stay there, my only gripe. Overall great piece of light insulation for all year.
Pros: Build quality, PerformanceGood sweater
February 14, 2011
I am 5'11, about 175lbs and got the large. The large runs a little big for my liking, but the medium was too small across the back for any kind of physical movement. I took it on a hike and camp in the NC mountains, was around 50 degrees during the day getting down to 12-20 degrees in the evening and was able to wear this with an Icebreaker 260 zip up for most of the night next to the fire. It is very packable (gets down to about the size of a two man footprint bag) and breathes fairly well. I don't think it would do well through brush, but great for around camp.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useVery warm and light sweater!!
February 06, 2011
This is our fifth Nano Puff jacket. We have one for my wife and I and three for our kids. They are light and warm, easy to pack. We plan to use on a trip this summer to the Rocky Mountains. Other than some bae layers, we will all use this as our prime jacket. Works great with a wool sweate even with temps around 20-25 F.
Pros: Great design, Ease of use
