Great Gloves
May 10, 2011

A couple years ago I had purchased these gloves in a larger size. I absolutely loved them. I wore them riding my bicycle on cool days over my bike riding gloves. They kept out the wind and a light rain. I recently lost that pair and looked all over to find another pair, but in a smaller size, so I could wear them everywhere. I finally found that pair at Altrec. The label inside the new gloves is a bit stiff but I'm hoping it will soften up just like my old pair did. Definitely worth buying again and again.

Very nice gloves to use as a liner but warm enough to wear on their own after taking off outer gloves. Great for skiing, climbing, horseback riding, etc.

Pros: Build quality, Ease of use
Cons: Wears quickly

Disappointing
February 28, 2011

I ordered the small b/c I have small hands, sent them back and got a medium, which I will be returning. The glove is very short-wristed, and my fingers felt cold.

Warm, comfortable
January 27, 2011

These were recommended to me as "the best gloves out there." They work very well. Can be used as liners, but also work great alone for hiking, cycling and everyday use in the winter...at least the Mid-Atlantic winter. They have a good grip and do not constrict movement.

Pros: Great design, Performance
Warmth: 4 / 5

GREAT GLOVES
January 21, 2011

Love these gloves. They are perfect for outdoor winter runs and hikes. Light enough for everyday activities. Very happy with this purchase. I wore these gloves in twenty degee temps with much comfort. They are not the best for the wet weather but I will not be throwing snowballs any time soon. The black is perfect and goes with casual as well as more dressy wear.

Pros: Great design
Cons: Cost
Comfort: 5 / 5

Highly recommended

Got this pair for my wife after I have mine for two seasons. She loves how sleek they look. This gloves fits snugly but very comfortably. They provide great dexterity because they feel like a second layer of skin. Relatively windproof and surprisingly warm. There is a cheaper model from Mountain Hardwear called Powerstretch Gloves, which is made of thinner material and does not have the friction pads/prints. The Heavyweight version is much better. After two years as my primary fall/winter/spring gloves, they have held up surprisingly well. I expect them to last at least through this winter, if not next. Then I will buy another pair.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use

fantastic purchase!

These gloves are amazing!!! They keep my hands nice and toasty while still allowing me the full range of motion I need for day-to-day activity.

Just average

I purchased the glove for barn use. I needed a lightweight warm glove that I could work with. I was working in 20 degree temperatures and did not find them very warm. Advertisement indicated they could be used as a liner but I found them too bulky for that purpose. Nice glove but comparable gloves can be purchased for a fraction of the price.

Great product!

Bought these gloves for my wife for Christmas and she loves them. Hardly any loss of dexterity. Excellent fix!

Good gloves, but the material frays easily
December 29, 2009

These gloves work well in moderate temperatures, but do not cut the wind well enough for anything below ~30degF. They are sleek and fashionable, and they have a nice finger and thumb grip. Unfortunately, the material will fray if it sticks to velcro... kind of a bummer

Perfect for outdoor spectating

Perfect for fall and almost winter sporting events. I can still do things with my hands, but they are not exposed. I had a lightweight version of the same glove that got a hole, so I bought these. A big improvement and I loved the previous pair.

Great Glove

I used this glove as a liner during my trip to Alaska. Very durable and good as outer layer for short periods of time in below freezing weather.

good versatile glove

These are really nice gloves. Between the fit for a woman's hand and the powerstretch - you can still use your hands. For those of us who suffer from chronically cold hands, if it's really cold or windy, you'll need a covering mitt for more warmth - at least until you get moving! So far, I've used them for golf, morning walks and snow shoeing.

Best gloves ever
December 04, 2008

These are the warmest and best gloves you'll ever own. They allow you to have the best dexterity in the brutal cold of winter and still keep your hands warm. You'll never be sorry with these.
