he loves it

i bought this vest for my boyfriend who rides a bike everywhere in a cold, mountainous place. he wears a fleece vest through most of the winter but i thought something windproof would be warmer for riding. he is consistently a size M (6'1", 165 lbs, slim athletic build) and this fits with a bit of extra room, so there's no need to size up for layering. the green is beautiful, the handwarmer pocket lining is very soft, and there's an inside zippered pocket that is perfect for a smartphone. it's lightweight but warm and he's really happy with it. it even goes with work clothes and bar clothes.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use

Great Vest. Looks great, feels great, and built to last. Windstopper lining is a nice touch. Promotes core warmth as a vest should.

Excellent Vest
December 04, 2010

Excellent vest, wonderful warmth and excellent stopping wind stopping power. Fit is right on the money, and made for amore athletic fit, so if you enjoy or want extra width in the midsection, order one size larger. Overall, this is a fantastic vest and one of the best I have had the luxury of owning. If you like vests, this is a winner.

I found in the Marmot Afterburner a well designed, warm vest which I can wear under a shell comfortably. It's lightweight yet keeps me warm and surprisingly I have not overheated in it either. Its a little more expensive than other vests on the market but you can see and feel the difference.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
