Icebreaker Women's Siren Cami
February 24, 2012

OK...all you senior ladies that are still athletic and out there hiking, exercising, etc. Anything designed by Icebreaker is quality...the question is how snug does it fit? i bought a medium, because I do not like tight (at my age), I think a small would have fit just fine, but I'm happy with the medium, at 5'3-125 lbs. I love the feel of Icebreaker in anything...so try it!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great value

Great colors and fabric, but low cut
February 22, 2012

Love Icebreaker products, but despite the great fabric, this cami was too low cut for me. Cami was true to size; I wear a 4/6, 34B, and a size small fit well.

Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever
Cons: low cut

Having a petite sized upper body, this cami is perfect for me! It is a great fit and has a low v-neck style! Very becoming! I would recomend this if you fit the style!

cut and fit
December 13, 2011

I love how this fits! I initially ordered the medium but a closer fit works better for winter layering this so I exchanged the medium for a small (I am usually an 8). Small also works better for a smaller chest. I am pleased to find a cami that is v neck. Hurray, it's not itchy! This is worth the investment if you want a wool layer near your skin. I also expect to use this as an "underwear" layer when I am x-country skiing.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, viola color is great
Cons: Cost

Icebreaker siren cami
June 24, 2011

I LOVE Icebreaker camis and have several in different colors. This was a new style for me and it has some great features. The v-neck is definitely a little low, but great for layering and even a smaller C cup can get away without a bra. It also has adjustable straps which help with a good fit. The material is lightweight and great for sleeping in as well as really cozy for cold or sweaty sports. My only complaint is that I ordered one in grey (which they call Blizzard- I expected white) and later one in black- grey fit perfectly and the black fits differently- both mediums. I'm wondering about their consistency lately as this happens with a different style as well. I will say I still kept the "different" fitting one as it really is such a great top to have.

Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, comfort!

flattering cami
April 12, 2011

I think this cami fits well. I am a small busted lady so found the shelf bra to be adequate, even on a hiking excursion. The straps are adjustable, and the wide placement is flattering on my figure. Also the longer torso section is good for covering the hips for those hip hugging trousers or shorts you might have. I got the Viola color, which I was expecting to look more purple than it does in person, to me it's more blue in real life. I got the undies in the picture too and they look awesome together.

Non-functioning shelf-bra and wide-set straps.
April 07, 2011

I was extremely disappointed with this tank. The feel of the wool material is standard for Icebreaker, so no surprises there. However, the top is extremely poorly designed. The shelf bra is too loose to be considered functional. I'm a 34A, so I understand why shelf-bras may be a little loose on me on average, but this top clearly isn't designed for bigger ladies either. The actual bra portion of the top would not have enough material for women who are bigger up top, nor would the elastic under the bra portion do anything to hold you in place (it's a 1/8" thick strip of elastic). The shoulder straps are too wide set to be comfortable either. To avoid the top billowing out and 'showing all', the straps need to sit over the last inch or so of my shoulder, which means they would slip off my shoulder if I moved my arms/shoulders at all. You can see it in the model above a little bit, but it's even more exaggerated when you try on the top. If you're still interested in trying this top on after reading all the design flaws I mention above, I will say that the top is true to size in the torso. I'm 5'2" //120# and the small fit my torso v.well w/out being too tight.

Cons: Bad design
