I bought this shoe. Very warm, even hot while walking. Do not get wet. I advise everyone! You have to wear thin socks to sweat less than the leg. The lack of ventilation creates some discomfort. High-quality shoes.

I purchased these boots primarily for snowmobiling and have been very happy with them. They keep my feet warm in the coldest of temperatures without ever making me feet sweat. The quality is excellent and they fit true to size. I ordered mine 1/2 size larger to accomodate wool socks that I usually wear. The XTM version of these have a tall upper that makes it a little difficult to walk. This would be my only complaint about these boots and is a non-issue when riding a snowmobile. In my opinion, these are much better than the average snowmobile boot and much less expensive. A very good choice and highly recommended.

I bought these boots about a half size bigger, to allow for the room of a thick wool hiking sock. I spend my time hiking at 12,000+ feet in colorado, and I have never had an issue with my feel being cold. This is the first pair of Columbia boots I have ever purchased, and I am glad that I had. There is plunty of room in the toe box, and the high ankle support helps on the steep decents, keeping my toes from jambing in the front of the boot. The break in time was less than a week, wearing them for normal strolls around the neighborhood with the dog. All and all an excellent boot!

Very warm boot, great for the everyday snow stuff and also sturdy enough to do some hiking in the cold weather. These boots are not as heavy as one may think for a strong snow boot. My feet are cold no longer!

I am a hunter and around the house worker, and I am tired of boots that don't last and can't keep out the snow. I bought these boots for working outside. They are warm, light, and comfortable, and they are stylish! I went black and gunmetal because I thought they could double as a boot I could wear for casual functions, and I was right! they look awesome! To top it off, I can use them for hunting in snowy weather! Top notch product and boot! And you can't beat the Altec price and gaurantee!
